CAMBRIDGE, Mass. ? Dartmouth rowers
Emily Dreissigacker (Morrisville, Vt.) and
Nell Pascall (Perth, Australia) have been named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-America teams after strong performances this spring, leading the Big Green to a berth at the NCAA Championships.
Dreissigacker was named a first team All-America after previously earning first team All-New England honors while Pascall was named to the second team All-America, having been a second team All-New England choice.
The honors continued for the impressive sophomore Dreissigacker. She rowed in the eight-seat for the Big Green in all of its Varsity Eight races this season. Later this spring, Dreissigacker will head to national team training camp to compete for a chance to represent the United States at the U-23 World Championships.
For Pascall, the national honor caps a solid Dartmouth career. The senior also earned second team All-New England honors after rowing in the five-seat for the Big Green this spring. Her efforts helped Dartmouth finish fifth at the Eastern Sprints Grand Final and earn a bid to the NCAA Championships.
