WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON LACROSSE
The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team returns to the confines of Scully-Fahey Field for a Wednesday non-conference matchup against Bryant. Wednesday's game is the first of three straight at Scully-Fahey for the Big Green.
This will be the first meeting all-time between Dartmouth and Bryant.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green played their first road game of the season this past Saturday at No. 22 UMass. The Minutewomen took the win by a score of 14-6 on a snowy afternoon at Garber Field.
Lucy Murray,
Boo Dewitt,
Katina Christensen, and
Catherine Erb each finished with two points. Murray scored twice while Dewitt, Christensen, and Erb all had one goal and one assist.
Christensen also finished with four ground balls.
Sophia Franco had three and Murray and
Gisele Todd each scooped two.
Nieve Donegan,
Jev Ward, and Franco all had two caused turnovers.
THE STATS
Christensen leads the Big Green in goals with four through the opening two games.
Samantha Bennett, Dewitt, and Erb are all tied for second with three goals each. Dewitt has a team-high three assists while Bennett, Christensen, Erb, Murray, and Ward all have one.
There's a five-way tie for the lead in caused turnovers as
Maja Desmond,
Nieve Donegan,
Meriwether Florence, Franco, and Ward each have two.
Isabella Godsick has 10 draw controls and
Margaret Maruszewski has six.
Gisele Todd has started both games in goal for the Big Green this season and has made 17 saves while leading the team in ground balls with five.
SCOUTING BRYANT
Bryant enters Wednesday's game with a 2-1 record. The Bulldogs are coming off a 17-14 win over Lafayette. This is the first road game of the year for Bryant after playing the first three at home.
Kenna Kaut leads the Bulldogs in goals with 18. Emily Oliver and Skylar Simmonds are tied for second with eight apiece. Chamberlaine Bell has a team-high 11 assists while Oliver has nine.
Sam Centofante has started all three games in goal for the Bulldogs. Centofante has made 16 saves while allowing 24 goals.
