TUESDAY'S GAME
The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team plays host to non-conference Hofstra Tuesday afternoon with opening draw from Scully-Fahey Field set for 3 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
•   The Big Green rolled to its biggest Ivy League win ever on Friday night, defeating Columbia, 21-2, in New York City.
•   For Dartmouth, the 19-goal margin of victory was the largest in an Ivy League game in program history.
•   In total, five Dartmouth players had five or more points in the win.
Campbell Brewer led the way with a career day of six goals, while
Katie Bourque scored four times and had one assist,
Ellie Carson notched a pair and dished out three helpers and
Kierra Sweeney scored three and had a trio of helpers.
•  Â
Katie Forman made her first career start and earned the win with two saves in the first half before
Becca Wade came in for the second to make three saves. Forman got the win, the first of her career.
SCOUTING HOFSTRA
•   The Pride come to Hanover with a 6-3 overall record thanks to an 11-4 win over Sacred Heart Saturday in their most recent game.
•   Alyssa Parrella is the team leader with 42 goals and 48 points in nine games this season. Her 4.38 goals per game rank fourth nationally as she has scored at least twice in every contest this season. She has 142 goals in just 42 games during her first two-plus years at Hofstra.
•   Despite 121 team goals so far this season, only 38 have been via an assist, accounting for less than a third of all markers. Katie Whelan leads the team with 12.
•   In goal, Jess Smith has made all nine starts and is the goalkeeper of record in every game. She boasts a .523 save percentage and a 9.50 goals against average in 518 minutes of action.
AGAINST THE PRIDE
•   Tuesday will mark just the third all-time meeting between the two teams with each winning once.
•   The home team has yet to record a victory in the series as Dartmouth won 17-9 in Hempstead last season and the Pride taking the only Hanover contest, 9-8, back in 2014.
•   Last season,
Elizabeth Mastrio and Sweeney each scored four times with
Ellie Carson scoring three.
MORE AWARDS
•   For the second week in a row, the Ivy League's top defensive player resides in Hanover.
•   This time, it was
Claire Marshall who was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week.
•   For Marshall, it was her first accolade from the conference office.
•   She earned the distinction after helping Dartmouth hold Columbia to just two goals, the second-lowest total for any Ancient Eight team this season. Marshall was part of a team-wide defensive effort that held last week's offensive player of the week Lindsey Ewertsen without a point in the game.
•   Marshall also posted a game-high four ground balls and one draw control in the game.
15… THAT'S A LOT!
•  Â
Kathryn Giroux had 15 draw controls, moving back into first place all-time in the Ivy League for the time being with 316 for her career.
•   The 15 draws are the most ever in an Ivy League regular season game in conference history, breaking her own record of 13 set against Cornell on April 15, 2017. Her 16 against Penn in last year's league semifinals are still the most in a game played between two Ivy opponents.
•   Izzy Nixon of Yale had eight against Harvard on Sunday, giving her 318 in her career and moving her back into the all-time lead amongst Ivy players for now…
6 IS ALSO A LOT
•   Dartmouth is scoring goals at a torrid pace right now, averaging a league-best 15.57 goals per game.
•   The Big Green are also tied for the Ivy lead with eight assists per game so far this season.
•   A lot of that has to do with
Kellen D'Alleva's strong effort this season.
•   Against Columbia, the senior dished out six helpers for the second time this season with the other coming against Brown. Those two efforts are tied for the top mark of any player in a league game so far in 2019.
•   Her 2.86 assists per game are second most in the Ivy League.
