Margo Duke scored six goals on 12 shots in her junior season, including a hat trick in an early season win over Massachusetts. As a sophomore the true triple-threat had multiple point games in victories over Boston College, Harvard and Brown. A clever cutter with decisive dodges, she has a knack for getting open. Also one of the hardest re-defenders on the team, Margo will always be part of the action in the attacking end. As an All-America and All-State player, she brought an impressive athletic resume to the Big Green. She was a part of two Colorado State runner-up championships and the 2002 state championship squad. Margo also played field hockey, earning All-State and All-League recognition, as well as basketball. She captained the Kent-Denver lacrosse team as a senior.
Margo has a double major in government and French studies.

MARGO DUKE STICK CHECK
My most coveted childhood possession is: Puppy, my raggedy old stuffed ... puppy.
What inspires and motivates me is: My teammates, knowing that are giving everything they have for me motivates me to do everything for them.
When I grow up I want to be: A Supreme Court Justice.
My role models are: My mom and dad. They have taught me so much about what it means to be a good person, friend and teammate. They have also helped me surmount obstacles in my life when I thought it was too hard and have been by my side through everything.
What I love most about the team is: How much fun we have together no matter where we are or what we are doing. We can make each other laugh when we are warming up for a game, practicing, sitting on the bus on the 10th hour of a road trip, or in the locker room. I love this team because they are my best friends and we just have a great time playing a sport we all love.
