Margo Duke scored six goals on 12 shots in her junior season, including a hat trick in an early season win over Massachusetts. As a sophomore the true triple-threat had multiple point games in victories over Boston College, Harvard and Brown. A clever cutter with decisive dodges, she has a knack for getting open. Also one of the hardest re-defenders on the team, Margo will always be part of the action in the attacking end. As an All-America and All-State player, she brought an impressive athletic resume to the Big Green. She was a part of two Colorado State runner-up championships and the 2002 state championship squad. Margo also played field hockey, earning All-State and All-League recognition, as well as basketball. She captained the Kent-Denver lacrosse team as a senior.Margo has a double major in government and French studies.
WHAT THE COACHES SAY ABOUT MARGO:
“Margo is a tremendously versatile athlete who has played every position on the field. She's a great communicator and solid defender who is steady and reliable wherever she plays. She's a true role model on and off the field.”
