Why Dartmouth?
Dartmouth was actually the only school that I really liked. I loved everything about it - the cold weather, the atmosphere, the location, the people, the rowing team, the coaches, ect. and luckily it worked out perfectly for me!
How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?
I have been rowing since my freshman year of high school. I grew up sailing and had planned to sail in high school until the crew coaches managed to convince me to try rowing for one spring and see if I liked it...I loved it and have been rowing ever since!
Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?
The 2009 Hoyle Bowl awarded to the most dedicated girl rower
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I was a runway and print work model throughout all of high school and had contracts with two modeling agencies.
What extra curricular activities are you involved with on campus?
I am an active member and hold leadership positions in both the Dartmouth Coalition for Global Health and Social Equity and Sigma Delta Sorority.
What are your future plans, if any?
I hope to pursue a career in global health and international relations and plan to take a few years off from school after graduation before I study for a master's degree.
