Q&A with Kyle Heppenstall

Why Dartmouth?

I liked the location, small size, and focus on the liberal arts.

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?

I have been rowing since the beginning of fall term. I would say I first got interested in rowing when they brought an eight up onto the green and
started to convince freshmen to come try it out.

Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?
No I have not.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
Before I came to Dartmouth, I had never actually seen any type of rowing boat except for on television.

What other activities do you participate in on campus?
I work in the dishroom at Thayer and in FoCo making sandwiches.

What are your future plans, if any.
My plan is to graduate in four years. After that I am not really sure.
